To make a purchase, please contact us

• Select your payment method
CREDIT CARD : MasterCard / Visa
We will email / confirm the total amount
of your
invoice purchase, including -
item price, shipping / postal fees / insurance,
and any other fees such as
international
custom-tariffs, or
applicable CA state sales tax -
Your items will be held for 7 days;
after 7 days the hold will expire.
To process a purchase by credit card,
we need the credit card billing address,
expiration date, the name printed
on
the card, and the credit card number.
We will charge your credit card, and
ship your items.
MONEY ORDER :
We will email / confirm the total amount
of your
invoice purchase, including -
item price, shipping / postal fees / insurance,
and any other fees such as
international
custom-tariffs, or
applicable CA state sales tax -
Your items will be held for 7 days;
after 7 days the hold will expire.
Your items will be shipped when
money order is received.
Checks and money orders are made payable to: RARE FINDS
PERSONAL CHECK :
We will email / confirm the total amount
of your
invoice purchase, including -
item price, shipping / postal fees / insurance,
and any other fees such as

applicable CA state sales tax -
Your items will be held for 7 days,
after 7 days the hold will expire.
When your check is received, we will
hold your items, and ship when check has
been cleared by our bank, generally 7 days.

PAYMENT POLICIES
Payment is due within 7 days, after a request to purchase an item is confirmed.
SHIPPING
Combined shipping is offered for multiple items. Please allow us to invoice you for the items you would like to purchase, so the correct fees can be calculated.
Every effort is made to ship within 2 working days of receipt of confirmed payment.
If you have special shipping requests, please write to us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Shipments within the USA :
To be able to offer delivery confirmation, light items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Heavier items are shipped UPS.
Insurance is required to ship all purchased items.
Shipments outside the USA:
Light items are shipped via USPS 1st Class International. Heavier items are shipped via USPS International Priority Mail.
Insurance / delivery confirmation are not offered on these international classes of service.
As required by law, the purchase price is declared on customs forms.
CONDITIONS OF SALE
Most items offered are antique or vintage, which means they have had a previous life.
All merchandise is being sold "as found". The information offered is as accurate as possible. Please review the description and photos carefully and if there are any doubts or questions, be sure to ask before making a purchase.
We believe you will be happy with your purchase, however, if you find an item is not substantially as described, returns are accepted if requested within 3 days of receipt.
Items must be returned in the same condition as they were sent.
We do not refund for merchandise damaged or lost in shipping. If this happens, you must file a claim with the shipping company, and be sure to retain all original packaging materials. Do not discard original packing materials; you will not be able to file a claim without original packaging. A claim cannot be filed without insurance.
Accepted returns must be sent back within 5 days of notification. Return shipping and insurance fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Refunds will be made promptly in payment kind, LESS original shipping, insurance and fees, including bank fees and credit card transaction fees, which will be deducted from the refund total.
